Scotland is impressive in every aspect. He has lovely conformation, quality pedigree, and is a proven performer. In his 6 race career, Scotland never finished worse than 3rd. He started twice in graded stakes company when running in both the Grade 2 Jerome and Grade 3 Withers garnering 3rd place finses in both. Now, in his post race life Scotty is cool, calm and collected. He is well socialized in herd dynamics and is easy to have around. He can hold his own and will not be at the bottom but he is not overy assertive. Scotland does not have any stall vices.
Under saddle he has a lovely way of going. He is fun to ride and after a bit of time off he is working to build back the muscles he needs to really carry himself. When he does he will have quality movement and natural elasticity. Being a bit rusty means his canter is also unbalanced but again, that will only improve with time and work. He has a kind heart and a great work ethic, he is going to give you his all every time. He will be a star for a very lucky intermediate rider. Scotland is suitable for flatwork disciplines only.
