Bigwavedave is actually a mare though most people would think gelding by her name. She does have kind of a”dude” personality and is laid back to work around. She is middle of the herd. Dave has a chromosomal abnormality which just means she cannot get in foal. It does not cause any other issues. She has not cycled in her time here so we do not know if she comes in heat or how she behaves when she does, but she is a very easy going mare. Dave not have any stall vices.
Under saddle, Dave has a lovely ground covering stride. She is forward thinking and seems to be quite athletic as well as brave. Dave was a favorite of her riders on the track due to her professional nature and willingness to work. She retired from racing without any apparent injuries and will be suitable for all disciplines with an advanced rider!
